As a Democrat, I’m running to protect Bethlehem’s charm while supporting sustainable growth — I’ll push for safer streets, food access, local business support, and green space. I’ll fight neglect, back social services, and support first responders.
Tina has deep roots in Bethlehem and a lifelong commitment to service, advocacy, and storytelling. Her grandfather founded a hardware store in South Bethlehem more than 100 years ago—a family business still run today by her brother. That spirit of community, hard work, and care for others has shaped every chapter of Tina’s life.
As a journalist, Tina has written hundreds of articles about Bethlehem’s people, history, and culture for The Morning Call and other respected publications. Her reporting career also took her to New York City, where she covered textiles, retail, and international trade for Women’s Wear Daily (WWD).
For the past decade, Tina has helped deliver more than 25,000 meals to St. Luke’s Hospice House. She also co-founded the Judith Adele Agentis Palliative Care Education Fund—the first of its kind in Pennsylvania—supporting compassionate end-of-life care and training. Her dedication to service extends beyond Bethlehem: she and her husband, Bob, joined a church mission trip to Concepción, Costa Rica, helping convert a blighted building into a community counseling center.
Tina’s platform is shaped by decades of lived experience and civic involvement. As a longtime runner—logging an estimated 80,000 miles through Bethlehem—she knows firsthand the importance of street safety. She served on the city’s pedestrian safety committee under the Cunningham administration and led efforts to install speed humps on Main Street Extension in the early 2000s. If elected, she will champion policies that protect pedestrians, cyclists, and all who use our roads.
Tina believes in smart, sustainable urban design that respects Bethlehem’s history while building for the future. She supports expanding access to fresh food in underserved neighborhoods, protecting and growing the city’s green spaces, and bolstering Bethlehem’s Tree City USA designation. She is also a strong supporter of the arts, cultural diversity, and year-round tourism—especially as the city embraces its global recognition through the UNESCO Creative Cities designation.
Affordable housing is another central issue in her campaign. Tina understands the complex roots of housing challenges and is committed to pursuing policies that expand pathways to homeownership, support affordable rents, and apply LERTA tools where they can have the greatest impact.
Her grandfather founded this family hardware store on the Southside over a century ago. Pictured here are Tina’s father, brother, and longtime employees who helped shape a beloved local business that served generations. These are the values she brings to public service: commitment, community, and a deep respect for Bethlehem’s working families.
